So..
I'm still learning a few new things.. but I still have trouble with good backgrounds going with the right render.

What do you guys recommend (any textures, please link them)



Also.. this is the first ever sig I've done smudging, so go easy. :P

add something to the background and give it a text,clipping mask,or something to fill it because it looks really plain at the moment

that's actually a pretty good start, the smudging looks very good keep the bg dark, black/grey or something (make sure it doesn't get too monotone though!)
add some "raw" textures - you know, not like grunge textures but not smooth ones either..
choose a cool font that fits with the render work and bg, and you'll have a nice sig

the bg looks plain so add a bg texture to it
choose a nice simple font
