Yesterday I made this sign of Ricardo Quaresma. There are here three steps of it. I'd like you to say to me what I should change in each one and what is better:

The first:

Then I added a Gradient Map:

Then I adjusted with a Curves Adjustement Layer:

So what you think?

I can't erase the effect because I had to put the layer in Hard Light...What you suggest I should do?

which layer did you put on hard light?? the render or the effect? if it's the effect, then you can easily use the eraser tool and click on his face

and if it's the render, bad idea, make sure you have another copy of the render on normal under your effects render, and also desaturate one of the two render layers

the bg is well too messy and the colors are bad man, and it's way too bright, the rest, the others already said it. keep on working man, look at tuts and things like that

1-What's the BG? (Sorry for ignorance)
2-Sihould I Low the luminosity?
3-What colours should I used? The main kit of his club is blue and white...

Another thing:
The duplicated (and with low opacity) renders are under the main render. Should I erase them inthe parts that are under the main render?
